Someone in my department died last night in her sleep. There's only thirteen of us in the department. Don't know what to feel or think.
Float Trip
Hubby and I went on our first ever float trip this weekend, on the Black River, with a whole pile of people, friends and family of friends. After three days of solid rain, the river looked high and there was a noticeable current.

Garden update
The Alyssum plants died, and the cat ate my basil. Happily I have some reserve Alyssum plants, and some purple and white snapdragons, which will form flower bed #2, leaving flower bed #1 with just pink Alyssum and blue Forget-Me-Not seeds.
