I guess that's funnier if you know that Erwin Schroedinger is one of the big names in Quantum Mechanics.  Max Born had his own interpretation, Niels Bohr came up with the Copenhagen interpretation, but like Bohr says:

Those who are not shocked when they first come across quantum physics cannot possibly have understood it.
