Kudos to Jo Mints for sending the free sample pack of Jo Mints and M60 mints, it arrived this week. Both are caffeinated with guarana. The standard Jo Mints come in the nicest box I've seen in a while, and there's a mirror in the lid.

Grocery worker's strike
The union is striking at the "Big Three" grocery stores in St Louis, pickets are out in the parking lot, store hours are now 10am to 7pm. Inside the stores, the temporary people are not trained and everything is slow. The self-scan checkout is probably the fastest option
In praise of roaches
The humble roach is a much maligned creature, and it's high time to point out some of its virtues. Roaches will never steal the lawn mower from your back garden. Roaches will never send spam with your domain as the return address. Roaches will never forget to update
