New tea in town

Starbucks has been supplanted by St Louis Bubble Tea, on the Loop in University City.  It looks odd to have a cup of milky sweet tea with several layers of black balls at the bottom (called boba) and a 12mm diameter straw to accommodate them, but once you get over the oddball factor, it's fun.  The balls are boiled tapioca stuff, they absorb some flavour from the tea and the texture is all gummy.  It sounds gross, but it's worth trying.  On our first visit, we walked in professing total ignorance of what to order, and got samples.  They also do a wonderful plum slushie.
