Hands off my stuff!

It really ticks me off when someone swipes something from one of my sites and publishes it on their site without even asking, or giving credit.  I don't care if you say you're Christians, I don't care where you're from, get MY work off YOUR site pronto.

A polite request has been sent to the guilty party.  If they don't respond, a less polite one will be sent.  The last time this happened we had to mention lawyers to get our stuff off someone else's site.  I only found out this one through an egosurf on Google just now.

Just because it's on the net, it doesn't mean it's free for the taking.  My stuff is still mine, especially if it has a copyright notice on it, and another notice saying "No, you can't put this on your site.  Link to it if you want, but don't steal it."

My gut reaction is to call them a bunch of thieving weasels and rev up the chainsaw [note to self, never mention chainsaws in a job interview again].  I await their response.  I don't want another fight.
