Back to the Routine

I took a long-neglected, half-knitted sock to the final Sunday NaNoWriMo write-in and chatted with the other winners.  The sock came to work with me this week instead of my laptop.  The cable isn't as visible as I'd like, but this yarn has been through a ripping before, so I'm going to keep going.

Sock and yarn.

I really want to knit a lace scarf with my blue Wollmeise (Spina di Pesce from the yarnissima kit).  The photo doesn't capture the colour, it's darker, more varied, and very rich.  The weather is perfect for scarves, and my first lace scarf, Faina, was a gift for someone else.  Love the pattern, hate the fringe with the fire of a thousand suns.  What to knit with 575 yards of sock yarn...

There's some more of Eris still to knit, I need to finish off the hem and both sleeves.  Then the terrifying zipper installation.  Then I can wear it.  It would be nice to have it done by year end because it's going to get cold around here.
