Dreams

Last Friday, when we saw the last two houses, Janis (the real estate agent) asked if we'd started dreaming about houses yet.  I had dreamed the night before about moving into a big old house and having an Emperor penguin delivered in a wooden barrel.  Apparently the penguin came with the house, it all made perfect sense in the dream.

One big advantage of the "mock Tudor" style is that you have a handy paint-by-numbers arrangement when you paint the outside.  Larry suggested a harlequin effect, but I don't think I could live in a house that looked like wrapping paper.  Maybe replace the white with a white shade of blue, green or peach, or go for a very light grey.  I don't know.  But bright red and blue are right out.
