Bowtie scarf

The Bowtie scarf is coming along nicely:

I had to modify the pattern to get the slot to look decent.  Ended up going down four needle sizes (from a size 7 to a size 3) for the row before and after and using thread instead of a stitch holder to make life easier.  Also went with a wider scarf (30 stitches not 17).  I love the three-dimensional scarf end:

The yarn is amazingly soft!  There are small pieces of brown fleece in with the blend, and the garter stitch is soft and squidgy.  Go get some Morehouse Merino three strand yarn this instant.  Norma can show you how to dye it with Kool-Aid if you don't go for the natural sheep colours.
