I graduated from a master's degree program in data science from Maryville University in St Louis in December 2024, with a 4.0 GPA.

I started learning Chinese Kenpo karate at Tracy's Karate in Kirkwood in November 2008 and love it, I got my black belt on Friday 13th May, 2016, reaching the level of Shodan.

• Promoted to Nidan, second degree, on August 20th, 2018.
• Promoted to Sandan, third degree black belt, on Sept 19th, 2021.
• Promoted to Yodan, fourth degree, on April 14th, 2025.

I do a lot of crafts, mainly knitting and weaving on a rigid heddle loom. I also carve wooden spoons, sew, and embroider a little.

I had sibling cats (TJ Max Planck and Marie IKEA Curie) until Max died from lymphoma in 2023 at age 5. Hunter Yoda, a SBT Savannah, arrived in mid 2023, he delights in pouncing on Marie. I live in the American Midwest despite originally being British, and work in technology.

From 2004 to 2016, I tried to write a novel every year for National Novel Writing Month (NaNoWriMo) in November, and I did daily diaries during several novels.
