In every house, there is a drawer, the everything drawer, where miscellaneous stuff lies in wait. Foreign coins, a single knitting needle, pens that may or may not work, paper clips strewn all through the drawer, sticky tape that isn't sticky any more, and that one thing you've been looking everywhere for and had given up for lost months ago.
