The Travelling Shovel of Death (TSoD) made a guest appearance at the NaNoWriMo 2009 St Louis region TGIO Party!
Injun Joe presented it to me, then had to spend about 20 minutes explaining it at the bar ("So, what's with the shovel?"). It's staying with me until next year's NanoWriMo and we made the Traveling Shovel of Death group on Facebook. Feel free to join!
We all did the Happy Dance with Injun Joe because we raised $2575 for NaNoWriMo this year, instead of last year's paltry $770. Watch The Gratidude Dance on YouTube, and imagine about 20 people dancing in a crowded Houlihans. A good time was had by all!
Now I can read a book without feeling guilty I'm not writing my novel. Bliss!
